It's absolutely obvious, that you can hardly find a leonberger which is not beautiful! And for every owner his beloved leo is always an ideal of beauty, obedience and brilliance. And this is absolutely true! But together with it, almost in every country where there exists a Leonberger Club, a very interesting competition is held every year in order to choose the very best dog in the breed. Final decision is usually based on the objective opinion of the judges who give their competent and  impartial assessment of this or that dog at numerous dog shows of various ranks. By show results a dog usually gets a certain, number of points, which are scored up at the end of the year. The winner gets a title “Leonberger of the year”, or “Gold Leo(ness)” or something even more solemn. It is always very interesting to have a look at such dogs! For this reason we decided to open up a new rubric “ Best Leos of the World”. Today we offer you a first selection of the competition winners from different countries “Top Leonbergers – 2008”
