2009-07-01 PHOTO CONTEST - FINAL RESULTS!

The Winners Have Been Chosen!

All good things come to an end sooner or later. And so is our Photo Contest! We want to express our sincere gratitude to all friends of our web-site, who has sent us their leo-photos! All of them are really great! And now some statistics for you: Contest has been under way September-December, 2009; 38 competitors from 14 countriest ook part in it;

We got 224 photos from different countries! Previous Photo Contest collected only 21 participants and 92 photos (the results of the previous Photo Contest you can see here ).

It’s a real pity that some outstanding photos (actually super-photos!) came to us much later than the others and therefore had less time to collect enough points!

We are glad to present the winners with a portable DVD-player (1^st place) and with 3 DVD players (2-4 places). Our best congratulations to the winners and our best compliments to all the competitors!

Dear friends, we have received a great number of wonderful leo-photos from you, but only 4 of them (which collected the majority of your votes) have won the main prizes. But in our opinion, there are much more photos which also deserve a reward. So we decided to institute some more prizes on behalf of our leo Eremey in the following nominations:

“Best Couple” (best composition of 2 dogs in one photo)

“Best Leos in Motion” (dogs on the run)

“Most Amusing Incident” (some especially funny situation)

“Best Portrait” (most expressive or touching “face”)

“Large Quantity & Top Quality!” (a prize for a competitor who has sent the largest number of very good photos).

Our souvenir prizes you can see in the photos (a tea cup from Eremey for the winners in all nominations (places 1-3) and a wooden box of Russian chocolates in addition to the cup for the 1^st place in each nomination). We wish you a pleasant tea drinking!
